Sean Stepanoff is a California-based artist whose paintings draw on hand-painted signage, film, music, and popular culture. Working primarily with acrylic and Flashe paint on found wood, his work borrows the visual language of barbershop signs and vernacular portraiture, combining recognizable cultural references with humor and a deliberately handmade aesthetic.

His work has been exhibited with galleries including La Luz de Jesus in Los Angeles and Red Truck Gallery in New Orleans.
